I am super tired tonight but I still want to stitch so I am going to work on my All Hallows' eve but the frosted pumpkin stitchery. It is easy and super fun little stitch. My goal is to have a lot of Halloween projects completed as well as Christmas ornaments. I have seen some people who will have a Christmas tree with just cross stitch ornaments and I thought that was so cute. I have a bit of time left before both holidays. I just hope that I can make it.
The above bag is what I use to tote around my small projects in. It was made by a local designer who I am unable to remember her name. I love everything about this bag. It's super cute. 😀😀😀😀😀🙃🙃🙃🙃

I thought that I would share a few of my favourite sites on the web for all my cross stitch fixes. Which ones are yours? http://plumstreetsamplers.typepad.com http://www.lizziekate.com http://www.123stitch.com

My current WIPS

The above WIP is decorated for Christmas. Cross stitch and needlework magazine designer is Cathy Bussi. Holiday 2015. I have decided to stitch it on 14 count light blue Aida.
This WIP is count

This WIP is count your blessings by Cathy Bussi cross stitch and needlework magazine. July 2010. I am going to stitch this one on 14 count Aida. I love the design and a think that it is really sweet and. A great reminder on days when things are not going so well for me.

Not cross stitch but my husband bought me these 2 cute little fellows.  I plan on expanding my family :)

This one is being done by many of you.  It is the Frosted Pumpkin passport stitch along.  A new design comes out each month on the first  I am of course behind but it's not a race and I am enjoying the ride.
Please visit their page below.  They have so many cute and fun stitches to work on :)

Cross stitch blues

Ahhh darn, this past week I have been pretty busy at both work and home.  I really intend to pick up my stitching but my fingers are actually sore from all the typing at work.  This weekend was busy as well except for today.  I am just catching up on some laundry.  I am going to sit down after supper and pull out a new project to work on which I will show in my above post.

I hope that everyone has a great week stitching.  I plan to post as much as I can or that time will allow me to.

Busy Sunday

Wow I thought Sunday was for chilling out but not today. Lol. My son was on his dirt bike most of the day while my husband and daughter were on the 4 wheeler.  I even went for a ride.  I was also cleaning the house.  I did not stitch as much as I wanted to but that's ok. I am finally sitting down now and listening to the night time music of the crickets while I am going to pick up my latest WIP.

Not cross stitch related but my obsession with planners

So excited Michaels has a new planner line which look really awesome and lots of fun. I am just waiting for a good coupon and I will pick up the different colours.  I love to switch my planners just I switch out my purse. Lol  I have a small haul to share and I also picked up a new notebook for my next bullet journal. I found the notebook at chapters.   I love planners and washi tape just everything. I love the idea of planning and putting my thoughts on paper.  I have been using my current bullet journal since January. I have gone through a lot of planning systems but when I stared the bullet journal I became obsessed. I love that you can customize the planner to fit your needs. You don't need a fancy book you can use whatever you like. It has really kept me on top of everything. I really don't know what I would do without my planner. It is truly my brain. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

My long weekend WIPS

Ahhh finally a long weekend. I love it. This weekend is extra special because it's my dear sons 12th birthday. Hard to believe that he is getting so big. 😀

The first WIP that I am working on is Cafe de France Cross stitch and needlework magazine. Spring 2016 designer is Barabara Sestok

My second WIP is Cherry Blossom The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery

Happy Tuesday!  One day closer to Friday. Lol. I did not get a lot of stitching done yesterday or today so that made me a little sad. Why can't I just win the lottery already.?.??

I wanted to share my favourite cross stitch that I have done. It is by dragon dreams Jennifer Aikman-Smith.

I really love this pattern. I used to say this to the kids all the time.

My next wips is owlets my mill hill. Cute little project.

The best app for us cross stitchers.

This is the best app for cross stitching that I have found so far. It is well priced  and well worth the money. I love how I can take a picture of my current project and add notes to my project.  It also has an inventory section as well as a shopping list. So go on ahead and check it out.

*******This is my opinion.  I am not getting paid to promote this app. I just like to let others know what I am using to help me stay organized.  Have fun. 😀😀😀😀😀

Happy Sunday 😀

Happy Sunday friends!  I love Sunday's. It is such a great day to relax and try to renew before the start of a new week. I have pulled out my next set of projects in my rotation. I use the x stitch app to help me stay organized.   I will try and figure out how to link the app in here somewhere.  The app is a paid app but very worth it. It keeps me so organized.

So my starts for today are below. With a husband and 2 kids plus a cat and a dog that all seem to need something as soon as I start to sit down to stitch, I don't know how many of them I will get through today but we will see. 😀😀

Hello friends

I am starting up my new blog to share with everyone my love of cross stitch. I may also talk about my favourite tv show or movie. I also love to knit and I am an obsessive reader.  I am also a planner addict. I have been stitching for close to 20 years. I love the way that cross stitching relaxes me. I love the whole process of stitching.  How those tiny little x's make a beautiful piece that you are so proud to say that you stitched it. So welcome to my blog. Thanks for stopping in and be sure to say hello to me in the comments.
